Genki Crepes & Mini Mart

Genki is a staple in the Richmond! I usually come here for the crepes, but the mini-mart has a great collection of items for purchase, including a lot of Hello Kitty candies. I usually get sweet crepes, but I've recently been trying their savory ones and have really enjoyed them. I got the bananas, Nutella, and strawberry ice cream crepe, and it was delicious. There's some seating inside, but there are also benches outside. It's definitely a great spot to grab a quick meal or dessert. Street parking is most likely your only option. There is some residential parking, but only if you're lucky.

Really cute Japanese snack store, but most importantly the crepes r ABSOLUTELY freakin fantastic. The strawberry cream crepe downright RAVISHED me. I left the store in ecstasy and tearing up from absolute joy. Every bite felt bittersweet because I knew I would not be able to indulge in this delicacy again for a long time.

This place doesn’t need reviews. If you’re a local, you’ve been, you know, and you love! The crepes are hot and crispy, with the best amount of filling. The market is always fun and interesting to shop around. Expect a line, but they’re moving as fast as they can!

If I could, I’d give this place a 4.5 stars. The crepes are made quickly, and usually taste delicious. However, one time I came here I got the mango ice cream crepe. The mango was super unripe, even though it was mango season. I had to toss out the mango because it was green and I couldn’t even bite through it. The other times the crepes have been absolutely amazing. Even when they have lots of customers, the crepes are made within ~5 minutes. All the crepes are made fresh in front of you. The crepes are on the crispy side by the way. Overall I’d recommend, it’s a cute little shop, with mostly good crepes.

This is the best crepe place in the world! I would come to SF just to eat here. The crepes here are very unique. They have a crispy, almost cracker like skin rather than the traditional French soft crepes. The ingredients they use are all high quality and very fresh. The cream is lightly sweet and taste organic. The aftertaste is light and savory, no taste of chemicals like other crepe places. Would highly recommend!

The line can get long over the weekend but weekdays are great. They are fast at making the crepes. It’s crispy and yummy. Definitely worth the repeat visits. You can’t go wrong with the ice cream crepes or the dessert crepes. Nutella is gold.

genki crepes is a hidden gem! although widely popular among local richmond residents, it feels like a secret to the rest of the city. crepes were perfectly crispy with endless toppings to choose from, it’s the perfect dessert. shop around the market filled with japanese snacks while you wait 30mins on a friday night. would skip the ice cream next time and get other toppings instead

Genki Crepes is so good!! I got #7 chocolate ice cream + cheesecake + strawberry. I was expecting the small cube cheesecake bite but as I kept digging there were a lot of huge pieces of cheesecake!!
